BI 396X
Molecular Bio of Plant Growth
This is a lecture course delving into the molecular and cellular mechanisms of plant growth and development. It will emphasize the role of central genetic factors and important plant hormones in shaping the plant life cycle, from embryogenesis to senescence. This course will also introduce students to critically read original research publications and conceptually understand the cutting-edge genomic technologies that have revolutionized plant developmental biology and biotechnology.
Prerequisites: BI226, BI236, BI266.
